1. Pothuwil > Panama (17Km) > Kumana (17Km) > Madamathota (22Km) > Kebiliththa (34 Km)

2. Kataragama > Yala Palatupana Entance Yala Block 1 (10Km) > Yala Block 2 (20Km) > Kubukkan Oya (36Km) > Kumana Road to Kebiliththa (33 Km)

3. Kataragama > Galge (18.7Km) > Kebiliththa (30 Km)

4. Monaragala > Kotiyagala > Kebiliththa (35Km)

You have to get the permission from Wild Life Department to travel via option 1,2, and 3. Option 4 is a unauthorized way.

About Kebiliththa

Kebilitha Devalaya or Siyabalape Devalaya is a miracle place. And people believe Kataragama Devi is living here in stream entererly (Sovan Marga Palaya).People respect this place and they believe God present staying place is Maha Siyabalawa Devalaya. There are annals that God Kataragama meet Walli Amma near this Tamarind Tree, place called Siyabalawa Dewalaya. And another annals is God Kataragama or Skanda Kumaraya while came from India and decided to stay in Sri Lanka. And the golden canoe God Kataragama came convert to Stone and presently the place called Ran orugala. When he came Sri Lanka first he met a Tamil person at Okada and asked from him place to stay, but he refused it. Then he met a Sinhala person and asked him the same and he built a place at Madamathota.

So by coming Observing Higher precepts, avoiding alcohol and all other meats people can accomplish their hopes.
